Nexus Burst, 8" X 16."

This is a rare full color piece. I typically work with black ink.

This is a part of my Nexus series. I have been exploring this theme of trees/branches/vines growing out of a central nucleus for a few years now. This is one of the few that is full color.

It is drawn on an 8" x 16" Birch panel. The sides of the panel are 1 1/2 " deep and are stained dark green using India ink.

This original artwork was drawn with Sakura Micron pens and Faber-Castell brush tip pens, which are archival and fade proof. Initially, this was a black ink drawing.

I hand colored this piece using a combination of pens, brushes, & India ink. The drawing was finished with Tung oil.

Tung oil protects the wood and gives it a subtle sheen.

This piece is ready to hang and is signed.
